1923 - 2005
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ralph Carroll; beloved husband to Yvonne of 61 years. After 30 years of commendable military service with the Marine Section in the RCAF followed by many more years as Caretaker at Goose Spit, DND. Ralph will be sadly missed by his loving wife Yvonne; son Earl Carroll (Elaine Rose) of Comox; daughter Linda Carroll (Philip Parsons) of Sidney; grandchildren: Chris Cochrane, Crystal Rose and Landon Rose; and by four great-grandchildren.
Ralph is also survived by his sister Eileen Melski of Sydney, NS and was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Wadden, father Michael J. Carroll, sisters: Betty Carroll, Margaret Whitty, Loretta Lund, and younger brother Gerald “Mike” Carroll.
In lieu of flowers; donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. There will be no service at his request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Piercy’s - Mt. Washington Funeral Home, Courtenay, BC.
