Randall (Randy) Walter Boettcher, age 56, of Nanaimo, B.C., unexpectedly passed away on May 3rd, 2018.
Randy was born in Dawson Creek, B.C. to Walter Boettcher and Olive Shaw on December 16th, 1961. Randy graduated from Vanier Secondary School in Courtenay, B.C. in 1980. Randy then took on a variety of positions within the Overwaitea Food Group over the past 35 years. Randy enjoyed playing basketball and golf in his earlier years and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and travelling in his later years.
Randy is survived by his two daughters, Erin (Leif) and Cayla (Dillon), his three grandchildren, Cohen, Presley and Lincoln, his fiance, Luisa, his mother, Olive, his siblings, Ken, Amanda, Sarah and Tanya, and his nephews, Scott and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his father Walter.
A celebration of life will be held at the Bowen Auditorium in Nanaimo on Saturday, May 12th at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Children's Hospital.
