Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Ray (Joe) passed away peacefully December 10, 2003 at the age of 64 years in St. Joseph’s Hospital after a 10-month battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Bill (W.E.) and Winnifred, a brother Robert, and a sister Phyllis. He will be very dearly missed by his wife Frieda, daughter Tammy (Brad), son Dean, stepdaughters Kerry, Debby (Cam), grandchildren Jana, Jeremy, Karchiri, Dakota, great grandson Tristin, brother Harold, sisters Penny and Lorraine, as well as numerous other family members and friends. No funeral service by Ray’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
