Raymond Jack
February 11, 1933 - March 8, 2009
Raymond passed away March 8, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox at the age of 76.
He was born February 11, 1933 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Henry and Lydia Stefanson. They moved to Comox in 1937.
Raymond was predeceased by both his parents and brother Stanley. He is survived by brothers Ken (Donna), Alfred (Ann) and Robert (Janice), sister-in-law Colleen, and numerous nieces and nephews, who will all miss him dearly.
Raymond was a carpenter by trade and worked on numerous projects throughout the Valley. In earlier years he enjoyed badminton, hunting, fishing and family activities. He will also be remembered as being an avid reader, keenly interested in the affairs of the world.
He was proud to have served his community as a member of the Comox Volunteer Fire Department.
Casa Loma has been Raymond's home for the past 3 years where he was treated with respect and attentive care by the wonderful staff.
Private family cremation arrangements. Flowers gratefully declined in consideration of donations in Ray's memory to a charity of choice, for those who wish.
