January 1, 1958 – November 16, 2019
Reginald William Kent was born on January 1, 1958 and he passed away November 16, 2019.
Reg was predeceased by his father, Gordon Kent, June 2014 and mother Lucy Kent, September 2017. Reg is survived by his sister, Tracey Kent and brother, David Kent.
Though Reg never married, he left an indelible impact on many lives. He will always be remembered as a kind and generous man who loved his family. Reg was known to his nieces and nephews as “Uncle Bubba”.
Reg graduated from GP Vanier school in 1977. After several years working in the booming construction industry in Calgary, Alberta, he repatriated to the Comox Valley where Reg began working as a heavy equipment operator for various logging companies, most recently Hamilton Logging.
Reg was an avid motorcyclist, model builder, hunter and sports fan who loyally followed the fortunes of his Green Bay Packers. He would brag up their potential to any and all who would listen! Weekends were for football/basketball and occasionally PGA golf if Tiger Woods was playing.
Reg you will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know you. You will always be a part of our lives and always be a whisper in our minds. Farewell Brother!
We are planning a celebration of Reg’s life summer 2020. If you would like to be informed about the date once set, please send your email address or contact number to Tracey Kent; firstname.lastname@example.org
