Rena Heid, (nee McLaren) passed away quietly on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at The Views at St. Josephs. Rena was born in Kelowna, BC.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward (August 5, 1997) and her son, Donald (December 16, 2018). Rena will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marjorie (Robert) Pullen, grandson, Mark and great granddaughter, Peyton; sons, Raymond, and Clayton, her granddaughter, Lauren Heid, her daughter-in-law, Leslie Allen and her step grandchildren, Sebastien, Dominic, and Naomi.
Rena loved the simple things, her sweet chocolate and treats and spending as much time as possible with her family. She also loved to spend time with her childhood friend Margaret, and Anne in Vancouver. While she wasn't able to see them as much in recent years, they still kept in contact through phone calls and letters. It meant so much to her.
Leslie and Marjorie would like to acknowledge the loving kindness and compassionate care that the staff at The Views gave her. Special acknowledgment to Maureen and Malcolm Morrison who were dear and loyal friends of mom's. They were of immeasurable help to our family over the past years, and gave so fully of their hearts and time. Along with Jake and Arlene Heid who have given mom and our family unconditional love and support, always.
Mom is now swimming with the dolphins and flying high with the eagles alongside her precious son, Don. We will miss you always mom.
