ELLIOTT, Rev. Margaret Elizabeth (Willis)
March 29, 1928 - September 20, 2012
Mrs. Margaret Elliot of Comox Valley passed away last Thursday morning.
She was born in Chelsfield, Kent, England to Doris Gertrude (Carter) and Garnett Valentine, predeceased by her brother Peter, her sister Joyce, her grandson Thomas John, and by her husband Thomas Leonard Elliott.
Margaret and Thomas were married in England 1948.
She became a devoted mum to Thomas Gregory and Susan Margaret (Richard); a proud gramma to Matthew, Mavis, Megan (Brooke) and Rebecca: and a joyful GG to Brody, Ayrienna, Dylan, Jaidin, Coen, and Arwyn.
Margaret shared her faith in Christianity and served churches in Ontario and Saskatchewan before working here in Comox Valley.
Margaret and Thomas retired to England in 1995 and it was here she shared her most contented time decorating, fixing and renovating their home and garden as well as reuniting with her relatives and friends. They returned to Canada, British Columbia, Vancouver Island, Comox Valley in 1998.
A celebration memorial service will be held Friday September 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Comox Valley Presbyterian Church, 725 Aspen Rd., Comox BC
And where “Anytime is Tea Time” a tea fellowship will follow the service.
