With great sorrow and sadness we say good-bye to our husband, father, son and brother. Dick Anslow, born August 3, 1939 in Victoria, BC, passed away suddenly in Courtenay, April 10, 2005. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Joan; mother Agnes; father Jack; children: Derrick, David (wife Robin), Nancy (husband John) and Drew (Bonnie); six grandchildren: Carl, Justin, Joshua, Samuel, Teagan and Hunter; and one great-grandchild Aynsley; sister Janice (husband Sieghard) Neufeld; brothers: Jack (wife Alma) and Tony (wife Joanne). He had many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his first wife, Lydia, who died in a car accident in 1964.

Among many things, Dick was an avid lover of golf. He could be found on the golf course several days each week. Dick served in the Air Force for many years, retiring in 1988. Funeral Services for Dick will be held on Friday, April 15th, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the Church of St. John the Divine with Father George Daly officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, by request, please make any donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association of Canada.
