Graham, Richard Gordon

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, BC on Saturday, November 19, 2005.

Gord was born in Parksville, BC on August 23, 1923. He served in the Canadian Scottish Regiment during WWII, was a member of the BC Provincial Police Force and later the RCMP. He retired as Staff Sergeant of the Courtenay Detachment of RCMP in 1974.

Gord will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Janet, his wife Luella (Lou), son, Gary (Gina), sister, Jean, as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. His interesting life, with family and so many wonderful friends, will provide many fun-filled hours of shared memories and laughter….exactly the way he wants to be remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the BC Yukon Heart & Stroke Foundation.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the “888 Wing” located on Military Row, beside the Comox Air Terminal.
