It is with deep sadness that the family of Rick Mykitiuk announces his peaceful passing at home on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 55 years. Rick had many connections in the Comox Valley through slo-pitch, curling and darts. Rick impacted many lives through his friendship-if you met him, you became his friend. Rick started his electrical business, RPM Electric. He met a variety of people through work and many became very close friends. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tracey Mykitiuk; parents Nick and Jeannine; siblings Randy and Julie (Ren); stepchildren Sara (Donal), Shane, Chelsea and Leigh; grandchildren Ambrose and Ripley; nephew Jake and niece Lyric. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rick’s name may be made to copsforcancer.ca (tour de Rock). A Come and Go Celebration of Rick’s life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 any time after 2:00 p.m. at Rick and Tracey’s home. Rick will be remembered as a loving, kind and loyal person.
