It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rickie Dale Naswell on February 17th, 2018 after short but courageous battle with Cancer.
Born in Brandon Manitoba on July 1st, 1952, Rick spent most of his early years in Manitoba before moving to the Comox Valley in 1965.
Rick was happily married to Corleen Naswell (Lesopoy) on February 23rd 1974, and they enjoyed many happy years together. Rick and Corleen raised their children Lisa (Kurt), Richard, Kevin, and Rachelle mostly in Cumberland, which they always considered home. Rick was especially proud of his grandchildren Bradon, Jonathan, Taylor, Tori and Hunter and always looked forward to their visits.
Rick was an avid card player, loved his baseball and was known to enjoy the occasional beer.
Rick is not only survived by his aforementioned family, but by his mother Isabelle, brothers Terry, Ronnie (Bev), Greg (Angie), Gary (Erin), and Murray, sisters Dianne (Terry), Darlene, Lorrie (Joe), Sandra, Jackie, and Tammy (Ron), and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rick is predeceased by his father Larry Naswell.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held at the CRI on Saturday March 24th at 3:00 pm.
