It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Gilson.
He is survived by his loving wife Robin, children David, Susie (Debbie), Holly (Shawn), Kelly (Christian) and Sara (Andrew), plus 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Bob was born in Victoria and then moved to Comox 40 years ago. He was a Bailiff and Appraiser for 40 years travelling all over B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan making many friends on the way. He was known for his generous spirit and huge heart.
At his request, there will be no memorial. Instead, raise a glass in his memory.
Thank you for the many years of compassionate care from Dr. Neufeld and at the end caring by Dr. Slemco and the evening Palliative Care Nurses, 3rd floor, CVRH.
