Robert Cooper Plumb's health steadily declined after a machete attack in Courtenay, BC on July 31, 2019 succumbing to his injuries Robert passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at age 91.
Robert was born April 3, 1930 in Creston, BC to Lila and Leverne Plumb. He moved to Duncan, BC in the 1950's and started his own construction company getting married to June and they had 2 children Marc and Elin Plumb.
He later married Winifred Blanche Williams and Loreen was born. After Winifred passed away Robert was lucky enough to find love again and cohabitated with Dorothy Ball becoming a stepdad to her children.
Robert is predeceased by his partner Dorothy, 3 children Marc, Elin and step-son Terry, and second wife Winifred.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his daughter Loreen and husband Bob Johnston, stepdaughters Lynne (Jimmy), Dianne (Mike). Grandchildren Zachariah, Sandy, Tony, Janelle, Raymond and Rebecca. Great grandchildren Mason, Lily, Xenia, Ellen and Eli.
A private celebration of life will be held by close family for Robert on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
