Aug 27, 1956 - Mar 13, 2018
After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Bob surrounded by family in the comfort of his own home March 13, 2018.

Bob is predeceased by his mother Marie and in-laws Mary and Lou Burton. He is survived by his loving spouse Wendy of 39 years, their three children Ryan (Liz), Tyler (Jacquelyn) and Krystle (Brian), grandchildren Lexus and Lillian, father Frank, sister Kim and brother Pat (Gladys) along with several cousins, nieces and nephews and a special "so long" to cousin Phil. Along with many friends and co-workers.

Bob was a member of the Royal Canadian Scottish regiment for three years in Victoria, as well served our community of Black Creek for twelve years volunteering as a firefighter/first responder with the Oyster River Volunteer Fire Department (ORVFD) where he is now an honorary member. His selfless demeanour and drive to help people empowered younger members to join and succeed at the hall.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. Camping, fishing and hunting were his favourite activities outside of being a loving husband and wonderful father. Bob's wit, humour and photographs will leave his family and friends with countless memories to remember him by.

A celebration of life will be held at the Black Creek Community Church Monday, March 26, 2018 at 1:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to 'Camp Bob' via Black Creek Community Church; ORVFD via Regional District or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Rest in Peace Bob.
