Robert Joseph Mcallister

October 30, 1990 – April 28, 2019
It is with the deepest of hearts that we share the passing of Rob. Rob graduated from G. P. Vanier in 1999. “Saving the best for last”. His passions in life spanned many spectrums avid athlete, playing many sports such as rugby, baseball, hockey, and swimming. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, fishing and connecting with nature. Rob received a diploma as Human Service Worker through NIC and later went on to achieve his Red Seal in welding. He had a contagious laugh and an amazing sense of humour that just made him special and unique.
He has joined his mother Jo-anne, Courtenay Nana & Papa, Nana & Papa & Uncle Rae. He is survived by his brothers; Stephen and Christopher, father Brian (Maria), sisters; Veronica, Heather, Alex and Brandy, cousins; Samuel, Serenity, Maile, Thomas, Cody, Tonya, Echo, Jason, Bradley, Kevin, Michael, Jamie and Sandra, nieces; Annalise, Alissa, & Destiny, nephews; Jessie & Jacob. He leaves behind his beloved Teri, Shane and Tyler. He will be forever held in the hearts of his Aunty Annette (Cal) & Uncle Clifford (Leanne), many other Aunties and Uncles as well as Stepfather Dennis.
Rob was blessed to have had so many wonderful friendships … celebrating his life is what he would want us to do. We are inviting you on May 25, 2019 at 1200 hrs to join us to honour our friend and cherished family member at the Courtenay Rod and Gun Club on Comox Lake.
