Our wonderful Peter died in his home, with friends and family at his side Tuesday July 16, after fighting cancer for a number of years.
Peter is survived by his sister Michele Hind, brother Ren Abear, nieces Helen Abear, Holly Abear and nephew Elliott Abear.
Peter was a steadfast brother, loyal friend, engaging neighbour, generous Uncle and Plumber par Excel-lance. He will be fondly remembered for his intelligent, gentle nature, his breadth of knowledge, his honesty and his love of Mexico.
We will miss him and will hold him in our hearts with love. The sadness we feel will melt into fond memories.
We will be having a gathering of friends and family to remember Peter on Sunday July 28, 2013 at 2 pm in Michele’s backyard at 1070 Mantle Drive in Courtenay.
