March 23, 1933 - October 26, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Ron (Dutchie)/pops Holland passed away peacefully in Quesnel, BC with his family by his side.
Ron was born in Bridge River, BC to parents Winifred & Francis Holland. This is where his gold fever struck although he never found that gold mine his dream was with him until the end. Ron grew up in Vancouver, in his earlier years he worked on the railway, later in life he worked in the Pulp Mill in Powell River. Ron then moved to Vancouver Island and began his career in road construction which he worked most of his life throughout BC & Yukon after his retirement he still liked to go help the boys patch a road here & there.
In his spare time pops enjoyed camping & fishing he always had a good fish tale & a joke in his back pocket to be told, his good humor, laughter & story telling will be missed dearly but most of all just dad will be missed. We love you and may you now rest in peace.
There will be no memorial at this time, memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson's Society of British Columbia.
