"When my heavy load of care seems too much for me to bare, call him he will meet me there. He's so real to me. How can I but love him now, he's so real to me. Deep within my heart and soul he will always be..."
Words of our sweet mother who went to be with her LORD on December 30, 2020. Rosalyn Veronica Hiliare born Rosalyn Veronica Francis on December 3rd, 1946 to Elkanah and Albertine Francis in St Johns, Antigua W.I.
Her adventurous spirit brought her to Canada in the late 1960s. She was a teacher, pianist and a piano teacher. She married her loving husband Jean Rousselin HIliare on December 17, 2011. They both made a wonderful couple making crafts and electronic circuitry.
Roz, was the loving mother of Kwame and Hetti-Marie, and an attentive and caring grandmother to Noelle, Bronwyn, Kennedy, Caleb, Joshua, and Esperanza.
Wherever she went she was known for her energy and enthusiasm that she brought to a group. She was always ready to give a helping hand.
In her later years she made the move to Courtenay, BC where she was welcomed into the community of faith at Courtenay Fellowship Baptist Church. There she was loved and welcomed for her spunk and readiness to play the piano.
She volunteered and shared her gifts of music and arts and crafts to the children of Arden Elementary School.
A Facebook Live event of her memorial can be found on Thomas Manu's Facebook page.
