ROSE ETTA WOODS
October 21, 1923 – December 29, 2007
Rose Etta Woods aged 84, Comox B.C., died December 29, 2007 at Glacier View Lodge. Born in Stellarton, N.S. on October 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Handlan and Ardellice (Latham) Fanning. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bernard, daughter Sandra (Robert) McKinnon of Wilwot, N.S., grandchildren Sharlene (Chris) DePage of Calgary, Jeff McKinnon of Halifax, N.S. and great granddaughter Makenna DePage of Calgary. She was predeceased by her sisters; Helen, Mae, Anne, Marie, Flo, and Joan and brothers; Williard, John and Jed. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Protestant Women’s Guild for 50 years. She was passionate about gardening and baking. She was a good, kind, loving person and will be truly missed.
