In Loving Memory (1944-2021) ~ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sarah 'Rose' Ryan on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the age of 77.
Rose will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of nearly 62 years, John Ryan; her children, Loretta (Al) McPherson, Glen Ryan (Sandra Lee), David (Koreen) Ryan, and Robert Ryan; grandchildren, Rodney (Libby) McPherson, Josh Ryan, Katie (Gord) Oldrieve, Sydney Ryan, and Rachel Ryan; great-grandchildren Breton and Joseph.
Rose is also remembered by her eight brothers, Michael (Brenda), Lindsay, Lamey (Kim), Gerard, Clayton, Brian (Michelle), Kevin (Charlotte), Gary (Mary) and Vernon; her five sisters, Marie (Kevin), Frances (Farrell), Cheryl (Wilfred), Arlene (Leonard) and Valerie; her in-laws, Anne (the late Jim), Joan (the late Bill), Bette (Ed), Sally (Earl), Danny (Mary Lou), Mary (Molly (Dan), and Geri (the late Arthur).
Rose was predeceased by her sister Lillian; her brothers Paul and Robert and five infant siblings.
A private family Funeral Mass was held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Courtenay, British Columbia.
