The Lord Jesus Christ called Ross home on December 15, 2009. He entered the last hours of life declaring in faith and joy, “I belong to Jesus.”
His life has been a testament of God’s faithfulness, mercy, and forgiveness. He never tired of telling how God saved him: past, present and future. He continually related his joy in the constancy of God’s love and care for him and his family. We will forever be thankful for his deep devotion to God and his love for family and friends.
In his wallet he carried this verse from Psalm 73:26:
My health may fail and my spirit grow weak
but God remains the strength of my heart.
He is mine forever!
We, who loved him, will see him again when the Lord calls us: his wife Annemieke; sister Emily; 5 daughters: Barbara, Laura, Leah, Mary, and Andrea; 11 grandchildren: Paul, Carley, Jody, Shawn, Amie, Joshua, Danielle, Mackenzie, Kiana, Alexander and Autumn; and 6 great-grandchildren: Landon, Jessie, Ross, Noah, Mathew and Micah. Ross is reunited in heaven with his precious grandchildren Lyle Ross Luchak and Stephanie Annemieke Hope and with his five siblings.
