Grieve, Roy Carl
A resident of the Comox Valley Senior’s Retirement Village, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20th, 2009, aged 87. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Irene Grieve; wife Margaret; brother Loggie Grieve and cousin Alvin Loggie, Roy is survived by his 4 children, Lorne and Karen Grieve, Valerie and Arlen Burleigh, Dianne and Dave Souter and Ken and Kathy Grieve; as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Roy’s family were pioneers in the Comox Valley and he was a long time member of the Elk’s Lodge. Following his retirement as a commercial fisherman, he spent his leisure time, fishing, hunting, camping and golfing.
