Royce passed away in Courtenay, B.C. on June 24th, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers. He was predeceased by his grandparents Alexander and Ada (Parker) Webber (Upper Lakeville, N.S.) and his mother Kathleen (Webber) De Baie. Royce is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Laura (McNally), his five sons: John of Vancouver, B.C., Kenny (Jolene) of Gold River, B.C., Alan (Donna) of Collingwood, Ont., Carl (Cindy) of Comox, B.C. and Steven (Anne) of Barrie, Ont., his grandchildren: James, Jessica, Jeffrey, Kimberly and Alexander, his great grandchildren: Justin and Andrew, his brother Blake of Musquodoboit Harbour, N.S., his sister Shirley-Anne, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Irene (Fred) Lee of Comox, B.C., Ethel (Lorne) Charlton of Sherwood Park, AB, John (Donna) McNally of Summerside, P.E.I. and Patrick McNally of Cambridge, Ont., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was born in Upper Lakeville, Halifax County, N.S., was a 30 year veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and retired to Comox in 1988. The family would like to express their thanks to Glacier View Lodge where his every need was taken care of. Prayers will take place at COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY, B.C. on Tuesday, June 27th, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Courtenay, B.C. on Wednesday, June 28th, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Paul Murphy and Father Joseph Killoran celebrants. Donations in Royce’s memory made to the Rectory Fund at Christ The King Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
