Ruth passed away peacefully and suddenly at Glacier View Lodge July 25th at the age of 98.
Ruth was born in Warren, Oregon August 31, 1909 and was predeceased by her parents Karl and Emma Linder, husband John Bosomworth in 1984, daughter Beverly Loyek in 2005, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son Innes Bosomworth (Connie), daughter Sharon Hadley (Earl), 11 grandchildren and 22 great grand children, 2 great great grand children as well as one brother, Irving Linder (Muriel) and numerous nieces and nephews.
More than anything Ruth loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends but will be most remembered for her laugh. Ruth spent her life between Alberta and Comox but the Comox Valley was always home to her.
Ruth lived in her own home until she was 95, then spending the past 3 years happily at Glacier View Lodge; where much appreciation is given by the family for her wonderful care there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glacier View Lodge Society. Service is to be held at Comox Valley Funeral Home 1101 Ryan Road on July 30, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited for fellowship and refreshments in the Garden Room following the service.
