Mom passed away at 2:15 AM on Monday, February 5, 2007 in the Campbell River Hospital with lung failure after a cancer operation. She is survived by her daughters Sharon (Gord) Hand of Courtenay and Sheila (Gary) Dermody of Campbell River and son Mardy (Marty) Beam of Campbell River. She also leaves behind her brothers Andy McGoldrick of Vanderhoof and Pat McGoldrick of Cobble Hill area; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill Poole in February 1997. Mom and Bill have been cremated and their remains will be spread over the Quatsino Sound in a private Family Service in May.
Mom will be fondly remembered for her bright smile and feisty keen wit, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends, especially her bowling buddies and neighbours Ona, Marg and others.
