Shannin M. (McAvany) Denny
January 15, 1967 - February 9, 2002
Shannin Marie of Monte Creek, BC passed away suddenly on February 9, 2002 at the age of 35 years. She was predeceased by her father Lee D. McAvany. Shannin will be lovingly remembered by her family: husband Steve Farmer; children: Lyle Wayne and Audra Lee Denny of Courtenay, BC, Kristy (Adam) Higgins, and Madison Farmer of Edmonton, Alberta; grandson Mitchell Higgins; grandfather Len McAvany of Espenola, Ontario; mother Mary McAvany of Courtenay; sister Sylvia McAvany of Calgary; life long friend Jody Dowell of Calgary; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial Services were held on February 15, 2002 at the Schoening Funeral Chapel, Kamloops, BC.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at the Comox Pentecostal Church Hall, 1919 Guthrie Road, Comox, BC on Saturday, February 23, 2002 at 2:00 pm.
