Sharon Louise Alexander Adams, age 70, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Comox BC surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with cancer. Sharon was born on October 10, 1946 in Welland Ontario to James and Josephine Alexander. Sharon was full of light and mischievousness. She had a way of making anyone that she interacted with smile and fell welcomed. She pursued her two passions of traveling and caring for others throughout her life. She trained to be a registered nurse in London, England in the late 1960s and early 1970s, traveling throughout Europe at this time. When she finished her training she moved back to Ontario and then west to British Columbia to pursue farming and nursing in the rugged wilderness. Sharon was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church for many years and devoted much of her time to her own and other spiritual development. She was an avid reader and loved to sing. Sharon is survived by her four grandchildren (Rayna, Juliet, Amelia and Daniel), her two children (Mary Clare and David) and her twelve surviving siblings (Anne, Ralph, Jim, Patty, Kevin, Jody, Marion, Marg, Jeff, Kathy, Chris, and Heather).
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday December 7 at 11 am at Christ the King Catholic Church with reception to follow.
