Our hearts are forever torn, heaven received our Mom embraced her soul and gave her wings. all safe in her heavenly hold. on July 4 2022
Mom had quite adventurous life she married Vic Mackay in 1955 & from there went on a journey from one logging camp to another Pitt Lake, Glacier Creek, Vancouver Bay, Caycuse, Wakeman Sound. She was able to live in the city for a few years in between then spent many years in Campbell River within B. C. F. P family.
Then retirement came, moved to Black Creek & on to another adventure golfing & travelling as snowbirds in B. C. & the United States for 20 years They were like teenagers again
After Vic's passing in 1991 Mom continued travelling for golf & with her sisters across Canada, cruises & family get togethers that's when she was the happiest
After enough travelling she settled down in Courtenay on to playing bridge, bocci ball, water aerobics & day trips with her best friends
Mom was always planning something even up to her last days she planning putting a fashion show Her mind was always ready & excited to do something
The sacrifices she made and the kindness she showed to those she met will forever remain in the memories of all those who knew her.
Family was everything to her. She cherished her children, sisters, brothers & their families her nieces, nephews, daughter in laws, grandchildren & great grandchildren unconditionally, and they were her greatest joy
We all will carry her spirit wherever we are, we will never forget you
So until we meet again on the other side We love you FOREVER
