Stan Schumph

He was vacationing in Cabo when he drowned on November 30, 2016. He was born in Stephenville NFLD. Nov 20, 1933.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly, married 52 years. Son Patrick (Toni), daughters Lisa (Brian) and Connie (Matt). Grandchildren Amelia, Elizabeth, Aaron, April, Nathan, Isaac and Ethan, great-grandson Davian. Two brothers David and Bernie, many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law David, sister-in-laws Jill, Barb, Patricia, Kathy and Shirley, nephew Frank, long time friend Kay, and Cousin Ruth.

Preceded by his parents Simon and Amelia, sister Zella, brothers Garfield, Adrian and Denis.

Stan joined the RCAF in 1956 and served 28 years all over Canada. He also served 6 months as a Peace Keeper in the Golan Heights.

A memorial service will be held March 11, 2017 at the Courtenay Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to YANA prostate Cancer or Alzheimers organization would be appreciated.
