Steve Carter passed away on May 13th, 2002 at the age of 70 at home in Fanny Bay after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene; 2 daughters: Darlene (Randy) Mair, and Barbara (John) Barr; 3 grandchildren: John, Hayley and Desiree; 1 sister Bunny (Bill); 1 brother Ray (Kay); sister-in-law Bev; and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents: Steve and Amy; and his brother Reg.
A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 2nd, 2002 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Duncan Eagles Club, 2965 Boys Road, Duncan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Blind Institute. Cremation arrangements in care of Mt. Washington Funeral Chapel.
God saw you getting tired
And the cure was not to be,
