Susan Mattson

Susan passed away in her home Dec 8, 2007 after a long battle with emphaziema. Susan was predeceased by parents Norman Angus, Laura Ruth MacLellan and Brother Don MacLellan. She is survived by son Peter (Cheryl) Mattson, granddaughters Jordyn and Nicole, daughter Laura (Rob) Kokesch, Sister Anne MacLellan (husband Terry Clark), sister-in-law Gail MacLellan and family, Aunts Ella MacLellan and Jessie Johnston and family.
In her early years Susan had a short stint in the Navy and after spending time in the sick bay for blistered feet, she decided boots weren’t her thing. She was much happier in bare feet cooking for her kids and friends. Susan was a warm and loving person that would gladly help those close to her. She was always dedicated to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Whether in one of her many hours driving to hockey for her son Peter or taking her daughter Laura to horse back riding she was always there to support her children. Susan volunteered countless hours helping coordinated ice schedules and other tasks asked of her for Comox Valley minor hockey. Susan also enjoyed bowling, gardening and cards with friends and family.
She will be sadly missed by family, friends and all that knew her.
