BRAUN - Tanya Lucille passed away peacefully in hospital in Port Alberni, BC with her family by her side on Sunday, May 24th, 2009 at the age of 64 years.
Tanya is survived by her loving son Bryan Neufeld (Lynn) and grandchildren Brad and Holly as well as many special friends.
Born in Manitoba, Tanya arrived on Vancouver Island, specifically the Courtenay/Royston area in the mid 80’s where she remained until her hospitalization brought her closer to her family. She worked as a bookkeeper for many companies and mirroring her quiet lifestyle, she enjoyed reading, puzzles and visiting with some of her closest friends. Tanya was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother who adored her family in every way.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Cremation will take place.
