1945 - 2002

Born in Port Alberni, June 21, 1945, Terry was the loving husband of 34 years of Sharon; a devoted father to Kim (Brent) of Vancouver and Lori of Comox; a loving son of Margaret and Carl of Port Alberni; a brother of Rick (Lynn) and Mike (Candice) of Port Alberni; a loving son-in-law to Stan and Fonny Bredo, and brother-in-law to Ron of Courtenay. He will be fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his “bud” Terry Parkinson. He will be remembered as a great friend, an extremely hard worker, and a generous man who often went out of his way to help others. He was a well respected employee of the Public Works Department of the Town of Comox. Many appreciated his generous spirit and honest ’down to earth’ approach, he will be remembered always. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman for many years and passionately enjoyed playing golf and his ’morning coffee’ at the Comox Golf Course. An open house for family and friends to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2-4pm at the Comox Golf Course, 1718 Balmoral Ave.

Flowers Gratefully declined. If so desired, donations can be made in Terry’s memory to the Town of Comox 1809 Beaufort Ave, Comox BC, V9M 1R9 for the creation of a memorial bench. Arrangements entrusted to Comox Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1101 Ryan Road.

“The record of a generous life was like vines around the memory... and every sweet unselfish act is now a perfumed flower... character survives, goodness lives, and love is forever.
