Rennison, Thelma Sarah
Of Courtenay passed away February 2nd, 2006 at the age of 93, Thelma was born in Cumberland, BC on October 7th, 1912. Predeceased by her husband Charles in 1992, parents Sanford (1936) and Isabella (1950) Chapman and her sister Dorothy Prowse. Thelma is survived by her children: Ron (Sharon), Lorne (Sherry); 4 grandchildren: Rick (Donna), Rodney, Kendra (Dwayne) and Craig. Her step-grandchildren: Mark (Claire), Corey, Paul and Carmen; great-grandchildren: Jamie, Whitney, Kristopher, Cody and Jordan; and great-great-grandson Austin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8th, 2006 at 7:00pm at Piercy’s ~ Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Avenue. A Service of Remembrance was held on Thursday, February 9th, at 11:00am at Piercy’s ~ Mt. Washington Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Glacier View Lodge Residence Council Fund, 2450 Back Rd., Courtenay, BC V9N 8B5.
