1993-2016
Thomas, aged 23, was born on October 5, 1993. Originally from Chester, England, he immigrated with his family to the Comox Valley in 2002. Thomas had an adventurous spirit and was a talented and respected member of the Comox Valley United Soccer Club. He was very much liked by all that knew him.
Thomas is survived by his parents Paul and Theresa, brother Joseph, his Gran, many aunties, uncles, cousins, great aunties, and great uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 29th at 3 PM at the Seal Bay RV Park-Pavillion, 1901 Larch Rd., Courtenay. The family has asked for you to please proudly wear your team colours.
Flowers are gratefully declined but the family request you consider making a donation to either the Comox Valley United Soccer Club or to the Comox Valley Search and Rescue.
Feel no guilt in laughter, he’d know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever; he would not want you to.
He’d hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly re-capture a time, an hour a day,
That brings him back so clearly as though he were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safely in your heart.
