Frank fought a long hard battle with kidney disease and cancer. His battle is over just shy of his 91st birthday.
Frank was the eldest son of Marie and Shirley Elvins of Mill Bay. Brother to Doreen Carter (Pete) Joan Pope (Al) friend (Pete).
He leaves his wife Toady of 46 years, step children Karen D'Amico, Michael Greene and brother Roy (Gloria) of Duncan, many nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Frank joined the Air Force in 1949 stationed at Trenton, Moose Jaw, India, Pakistan (peace keeping) Comox, Greenwood N.S. Before retiring and moving back to Comox to enjoy boating curling, golf, a snowbird for 20 years and enjoyed working with wood and small motors. He was always there to help friends and neighbors.
As requested, cremation, with later date for a family service at St John's Church Cemetery, Cobble Hill to lay at rest with mother, father and sister Joan.
