Earle, Thomas “Tom” Wesley
July 17,1952 -,July 7, 2006
Tom passed away in the loving arms of his devoted wife, Carole, after lengthy illnesses. Also, by his side were Anna and Brian of St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carole; brother Bob (Tammy); nephew Jesse; mother-in-law Mary Longtin; brothers-in-law: David Hynes, Jacques (Binh) Longtin and Gilles (Sharon) Longtin; sisters-in-law: Lise (Dennis) Dolson and Laura Earle; nieces: Sara and Ashley; aunts: Lorraine (Bruce) Stewart, Barb (George) Hyatt, Theresa (Gerry) Lalonde; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tom is predeceased by his dad Sam, mother Shirley, brother Larry, sisters: Joyce and Rose Marie, and father-in-law Gerry Longtin.
Tom enjoyed music, camping, fishing, off-roading with his dune-buggy, playing his guitar, spending time at our home, backyard and workshop. One of our dreams was to travel to the Oregon Coast which we accomplished in 2003. He valued the simple pleasures of life.
Tom also enjoyed his co-workers. He was known to his co-workers and friends as “The Music Man” and, in his youth, as “Squirrel”.
In memory, please take a moment to reflect, to think pleasant thoughts of Tom and smile. An extra special thank-you goes to family, friends, neighbours, Dr. Matous, Third Floor, E.C.U. and all the supportive staff at St. Joseph’s. Also, many thank-you’s to everyone, too numerous to mention.
A Service will be held at a future date in Tom’s hometown of Woodstock, Ontario. In Tom’s memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Multiple Sclerosis Society will be gratefully accepted.
