Vernon lived his early life in Saskatchewan and Manitoba where he got his education and became a Power Engineer in the northern gold mines. He met and married Vera Little and took her up to the mines and later to work in Brandon. They moved to B.C. in 1968 where he worked for the Fed. Gov’t at C.F.B.C.
Vernon is predeceased by his parents Rollo and Mary Myers, brothers Elmer and Clifford, sisters Mavis, Iva and Norma. He is survived by his wife Vera and many nieces and nephews. Vernon enjoyed life, nature, music and his spiritual convictions. Private cremation arrangements.
