Veronica (Vonnie) James passed away peacefully on October 27, 2007 at her home with friends and family by her side. Born to Bernice and Henry Hegg on October 29, 1950. Vonnie is survived by her partner and best friend Ed Preece of Courtenay. Her daughter Karen (Roger), son Steve (Christy), brother Martin (Donna) and her lifelong friends Nora Staub, Deb Barraclough, Lea Ann Elgie and Jeanette Hopkins Black. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her love for life and family. Her family and friends wish to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Brad Harris and all the home care nurses and staff for all their care, support and kindness during this difficult time.
Vonnie, you will be missed by all but you will carry on
in the hearts of those that loved you.
