With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Veronika Aschert peacefully in her sleep on October 2, 2019.
In September of 1958 she came to Canada with her husband and 2 small children in search of a better life. Her passion was gardening. Her love for family was unfailing. She was a wonderfully selfless, kind and generous person and will be sorely missed.
She is survived by daughter Elke and husband Bill; son Bernie and wife Marilyn; grand children Kyle, Brad, Travis and Tanya; and great grand children Kai, Quinn, Veronika, Jessica and Makayla.

A graveside family service was held at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
