September 24, 1947 - May 1, 2021
Vicky, a resident of Comox, died suddenly at her home on Sat. May 1, 2021, with her husband by her side. Vicky was born Sept. 24, 1947 in Saskatoon, SASK, and spend her early years in Richmond, B.C., before moving to Ottawa and marrying Bud in 1967.
Vicky spent 31 years in the Federal Civil Service in LAHR, W. Germany, Edmonton, Summerside PEI and Comox, B.C.
Upon her retirement, Vicky, Bud and the pups spent the summers RVing on Lower Campbell Lake. Vicky took great delight in loving her daughter Shannon and grandson Brennen. Vicky and Shan were best friends, and their shared love was very evident.
She was also much loved by all who knew her for her infectious laugh and caring and compassionate demeanor to all. In short, Vicky was a joy to be around and would go out of her way to help anyone. She will be sadly missed.
As per her wishes, there will be no fanfare for her passing, just her family and friends to remember her fondly with love. A treasure taken too soon.
