Virginia Gale (Agate) Haslam

Ginny was born on July 14, 1951 in Lloydminister Saskatchewan and passed away August 17, 2017 while residing in Qualicum Beach.

Ginny's journey ended surrounded by her loved ones.

Mom was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother as well as a true friend to many. She never shut anyone out of her enormous strong heart.

Legend has it that she was the first female bartender in the Comox Valley. In later years she worked as an electronic technician, which she was very proud of.

There was never a dull moment while in Ginny's company and she could always make you laugh.

Our mom was the happiest when she was surrounded by family and close Friends. Watching and playing with her grandchildren was her favourite pastime.

Predeceased by her parents Milt and Peggy Agate and her sisters Donna and Carol.

Survived by her loving husband David and her children daughters Gaylin (Dawid) Daryn (Daniel); Son Andy (Laura) and her grandchildren Austin, Ethan, Ryan, Hayden, Kayla, Rylan, Autumn, Bianca; Sister Bobbi, mother in law Margaret, her nieces nephews and many friends.

We would like to extend and open invitation to all who knew Ginny and who would like to help celebrate her life with us.

September 30th at 3:00 pm - Dove Creek Hall - 3400 Burns Road.
