BAILEY - W. Doug, passed away peacefully July 18, 2009 in Duncan, BC. He leaves to mourn Beatrice, his wife of 59 years, son Douglas (Heather) and son Cameron (Shawn). Doug was born June 30, 1927 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and grew up there and in Vancouver. He also spent many years in Inuvik, NWT before retiring to Black Creek in 1973. The family would like to thank Dr. Wayne Crowe of Courtenay for all his years of wonderful care, Dr. Grimes and the staff of Sunridge Place in Duncan for the exceptional care in his last months. We also thank Phyliss from Courtenay Home Care Program for all her help in placing Doug. A special thanks to Bill W. and Dr. Bob for guiding Doug these last 51 years.

By this measure. Doug was a GREAT man.
