With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Warren Plue of Courtenay. Predeceased by his parents, Stan & Ruth Plue. Warren is survived by his wife, Deana Simkin, his children, Amanda Raymaakers (Kevin), Ali Plue, Tiffinee Nicoll and Jacob Plue; his siblings Jeff Plue (Marina) and Penny Mostal (Laverne) and his two grandchildren River & Sawyer Raymaakers.
Warren was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He moved to Calgary, Alberta at the age of 17 to study land surveying at SAIT. He spent his career working in the oil and gas industry, moving to Courtenay with his family in 2010.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made in Warren's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Celebration of Warren's life will be held on Friday, November 30 at 11:30 am at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay. Reception to follow.
