CAMERON

WB (Bud)

01 October 1934-15 February 2009

He did it his way.

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Bud. He was born in Shelmouth, MB, spending his early years in the Roblin area. He joined the RCAF in 1953 as an aeroengine tech with postings in Winnipeg, Trenton, ON and Lahr, Germany before being posted to Comox where he retired in 1984, attaining the rank of Master Warrant Officer. He was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice and Roger, and older brother, Blake. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Delores; his two children: Curtis (Lillian) and Corinne McLellan (Robert); and his 5 grandchildren: Jasmen, Damon, Quayd, Sadie and Jayde. He is also survived by his younger brother, Gary (Zelma) of Kelowna. Bud lived his life on his own terms, and while his death was far too sudden for his family, it spared him any suffering, and for that we are all grateful.

No service, and no flowers, by request. The family is planning to purchase a bench in Bud’s memory and donations would be gratefully accepted.

We invite friends and neighbours to join us in a Celebration of Bud’s life on Sunday 22 February 2009 between the hours of 1-4pm, 1785 Dogwood Avenue in Comox. Please come and raise a glass of red wine in memory of Bud.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
