Wesley Gerald “Butch”
1944 – 2008
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wesley Gerald Pebernat “Butch”. He was born in Chemainus, BC March 20, 1944 and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus October 29, 2008.
Butch was predeceased by his father Leonard Pebernat, brothers Ronny Pebernat and George Pebernat, sisters Marlene Sjodin and Bernice Lepage.
Butch will be forever loved and sadly missed by his everloving wife of 41 years Judy Pebernat; his children Shelley (Greg) Wilson, Todd (Melanie) Pebernat, Mimi (Blake) Laws; grandchildren: Justina, Clara, Emma, Lily Pebernat, Tyson and Taylor Wilson, Calvin, Malcolm and Alexis Laws; mother Rhoda Pebernat; brothers Dennis, John and Bob Pebernat; sisters Theresa Gardiner and Debbie Fedichin; numerous nieces and nephews.
His greatest pleasure was his family. Butch was a wonderful husband, a great father and an amazing Papa. He loved fishing, camping and hunting. He was the co-founder of Aaron House Christian fellowship and assisted pastoring. He never passed up an opportunity to lend a helping hand. He was a true Pastor.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Aaron House Christian Fellowship, 2946 Kilpatrick Ave, Courtenay, BC (beside Liquidation World). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Aaron House to continue Butch’s ministries.
