Wilfred Joseph “Wilf”
August 4, 1928 - October 15, 2007
Wilf was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario. Passed away in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC with his family by his side.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Doris, daughters Cheryl (Dan) Francois, Patty Lou (Paul) Marcotte, Lois York, Pat (Garrey) Wooldridge, Elaine (Bev) Wiles, sons; Wilf (Iris) Truchon, William (Linda) Truchon, nephew Phil (Bonnie) Umpherville, niece Audrey Umpherville, many loving grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews. He is specially missed by his pal “Chelly”.
Wilf served as a photographer in the Air Force until his retirement in 1979. Retirement days were busy ones as he offered himself to everyone be it cooking, building, organizing events or entertaining with music. As a fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus giving him another opportunity to serve.
Service to be held at Christ the King Church - October 24th, 11:00a.m. Father Murphy presiding.
