Wilf was born on June 15, 1941 in Riverside, Manitoba and died suddenly on Sunday, June 18, 2006 as a result of a car accident while returning from a fishing trip in Olds, Alberta. Wilf was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Cyrilla, 2 brothers: Bob and Roland. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mariette, sons: Normand (Laura), Darryl (Jessica), 2 grandchildren: Aiden and Madison; as well as by his brothers: Maurice (Anne-Marie), Eugene (Cecile), Richard (Bernice), Harry (Sheri) and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Murphy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Piercy’s Funeral Home and Vernon Funeral Home are entrusted with arrangements.
