May 24, 1922 - May 23, 2006

Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by his family just one day short of his 84th birthday, and his 61st wedding anniversary. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, his daughters: Carol (Kevin), Shannon (Don), and granddaughter Kate. He was predeceased by his daughter Patricia in 2000.

He enlisted with the R.C.A.F. during WWII and returned to Winnipeg when discharged. He moved to Courtenay, BC in 1991. Bill was a person of integrity and had outstanding ability in his profession.

He was a lover of nature and animals. Other interests were Dixieland music and curling and traveling to see new places. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, second floor nurses and Dr. Fitzpatrick and Dr. McNee for their care and compassion.
