Wilton, Bill (William) Douglas
Bill was born June 15, 1951 in Calgary, AB and he passed away December 30, 2005 in Merville, BC after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Sheilah, Jesse, Bree and dogs Zoey and Lizzy. A special thanks to Carey Parder, Bill’s lifelong friend, for all his love and support. Bill loved music, fishing and the outdoors. “Beauty in abundance”. He will always be remembered for his love of life, his sense of humour, his tasteless jokes, his contagious laugh, his love of knowledge and the music that he brought to all of our lives. Bill’s dream of pursuing music became a reality and he recorded several albums for everyone to enjoy. He leaves behind his wife Sheilah, his children Jesse and Bree of Victoria, his sister Laurel and husband Wilf Gray, father Lawrence, nephew Christofer, all of Calgary. A special thanks to Dr. Stephen Millar and the community nursing team for all their kindness and support. Bill asked to be remembered with joy instead of sadness. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made at a charity of your choice. Although Bill has left us, his spirit will forever live on in his music. Keep Grinning.
